The Lord has taken him a long way in well over thirty years of ministry. After all this time, he and his team have figured a few things out and understand more than ever how to pastor, consult and mentor, helping all of us to achieve our best in God!

Here's a brief history of his ministerial journey:

In 1991, after fulfilling an enlistment in the US Air Force and subsequently graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joe and his family returned to New England and began their adventures in ministry. He initially served as assistant and youth pastor at Household of Faith Christian Church in Amherst, New Hampshire. 

 

In March of 1996, the Lord called Joe to start International Harvest Church (previously known as Goffstown Harvest Christian Church). Since then, Pastor Joe, or “PJ” as he is affectionately called, has ministered not only in New England but in multiple nations around the world in front of hundreds of thousands of people. Those experiences radically altered his expectations as to what is available in God. He has seen the potential for city-wide revivals and national impact of the gospel through the demonstrated powers of God in Jesus’ name.

 

Joe is convinced that these marvelous graces can happen anywhere and at any time, without limitation based on time or geography.

 

While serving as the Senior Pastor at International Harvest Church (IHC), he has earned multiple pilot licenses. These include the commercial and all three flight instructor ratings, as well as an Airline Transport Pilot rating. He developed assorted aviation business ventures to help support the ministry and increase his influence in both the church and secular worlds. In 2002, at the Lord’s direction, Joe started Harvest Aviation Services LLC. It quickly expanded into a successful flight school as well as business aviation consulting and a premier crewing provider for Lear 30 series business jets.

 

Since selling his share of the company, he has been additionally “type” rated and still serves as a captain on privately owned and operated Dassault Falcon 50 and Bombardier Challenger 605/650 business jets.

 

Aviation remains an integral part of this ministry. He utilizes both pulpit ministry and that of business aviation to demonstrate and enjoy the realities of God’s Kingdom. Not simply for himself, but for the Lord’s disciples to be inspired, mentored, and grow in their own particular callings. Pastor Joe is aware that as children of God, we all carry greatness inside of us. He considers it an honor to help all of us discover this incredible potential the Lord has endowed us with!
